My Club privacy

My Club is the Jewish Kids Learning Club app from Torah2Go, for parents who learn Torah with their children. This page covers the app, on the web at club.torah2go.org and on Google Play. Last updated 21 October 2026.

Your family’s record stays on your phone

There is no account, email or password. Your children’s names, the lessons they learned, badges, moments and photos are kept only on your device. We never receive them. Backups and “Move to another device” are files and codes you create and keep yourself. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes this record, so keep a backup.

Anonymous counts

To know whether the club is helping, the app sends anonymous weekly counts: how many sittings were learned, which parts of the app were used, and how many phones opened it, with the country and city, the kind of device and browser, and whether it is the installed app. These are added to totals. Nothing identifies a family or a phone, and no ID is stored. To stop counting on a phone, open club.torah2go.org/#dont-count on it (#count turns it back on).

Learning circles

If you start or join a learning circle, our server keeps what the circle needs: your family name and picture emoji, your messages and reactions, and your time zone (so the circle rests on Shabbos). Only families in your circle see them. Membership is a random code on your phone, stored on our server only as a scrambled hash. When you leave a circle, or its founder removes you, your messages and reactions are deleted.

Shabbos times

The app works out your approximate location (city level, from your internet connection, without asking for GPS) to find candle-lighting times, and sends it to Hebcal to get them. We don’t store it. It is kept on your phone for a week.

Reminders

If you turn on reminders, our server keeps your phone’s push address, your usual learning time, time zone and how many lessons are left this week, to send a reminder on lesson nights. Turning reminders off deletes it.

Abuse protection

To stop floods, the server counts posts per network per day using a scrambled hash of the connection, never the address itself. The counts are deleted the next day.

Other services the app uses

Each has its own privacy policy. We don’t sell data, show ads or share anything with advertisers.

Children

My Club is for parents. Children use it alongside a parent. The app does not collect personal information from children.
